North Carolina High School Basketball - Chambers triumphant over West Mecklenburg

December 17, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28214

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) and the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), observed Chambers's basketball team overwhelm West Mecklenburg by a score of 102-29.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the 3A/4A Queen City challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Hough was routed by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 57-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge, on Friday, December 20. West Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 51-44 league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
