The Wilmington Wildcats basketball squad (Wilmington, IL), was crushed 52-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL)

With the victory, Coal City advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Coalers travel to Herscher (Herscher, IL) to meet the Tigers in a Illinois Central 8 battle on Friday, December 20. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 2-7. Herscher won 57-48 in their recent league battle against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL)

The Wildcats now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisle for a Illinois Central 8 battle on Friday, December 20.
