In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Collins-Maxwell basketball team scored a close 57-52 win over the GMG Wolverines.
The (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Tama (Traer, IA). The Redhawks come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, North Tama edged Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA), 65-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Collins-Maxwell-Baxter Raiders (Maxwell, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. GMG will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
