The DeKalb County Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Watertown Purple Tigers to 20 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Clarkrange for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. DeKalb County will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 65-46 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Watertown falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Purple tigers travel to Falkner (Falkner, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-4. Falkner lost 67-64 in their recent non-league game against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS)
