The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) and the visiting Singer Hornets (Singer, LA), observed DeQuincy's basketball team knock off Singer by a score of 65-52.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Johnson Bayou was knocked off by Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX), 88-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Starks Panthers (Starks, LA) in a C District 5 bout, on Thursday, December 19. Singer will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 70-21 non-league win over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX).
