The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Linn for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, December 20. Maquoketa Valley will confront a Lynx team coming off a 77-45 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Edgewood-Colesburg falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Starmont (Arlington, IA) to confront the Stars in a Tri-Rivers match on Friday, December 20. The Stars enter the match with a record of 3-4. Starmont lost 72-46 in their recent league match against Springville (Springville, IA)
