Texas High School Basketball - Los Fresnos holds off Edinburg North

The Los Fresnos Falcons basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Edinburg North Cougars to 58 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Port Isabel for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Los Fresnos will confront a Tarpons team coming off a 64-61 non-league win over STX (McAllen, TX). The Tarpons record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Edinburg North moves to 14-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX) to battle the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 20. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Veterans Memorial won 76-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley View (Pharr, TX)
