In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Midland Rebels basketball team scored a close 67-63 triumph over the Fairview Panthers.

The Rebels (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, South Beauregard was tipped by Vinton (Vinton, LA), 71-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) in a B District 4 contest, on Thursday, December 19. Fairview will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA).
