The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) and the visiting Henninger Black Knights (Syracuse, NY), observed Fayetteville-Manlius's basketball team knock off Henninger by a score of 56-48.

The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Corcoran (Syracuse, NY). The Cougars come into the Section 3 Salt City - Metro challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Corcoran achieved victory over Auburn (Auburn, NY), 68-63, in a league bout.

With the loss, Henninger falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Black knights host Auburn (Auburn, NY) to play the Maroons in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire bout on Wednesday, January 8. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
