Alabama High School Basketball - Fruitdale overwhelmed by Southern Choctaw

December 17, 2024: Gilbertown, AL 36908

In Tuesday's league test, the Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fruitdale Pirates (Fruitdale, AL), by a score of 66-23.

Next, the Indians clash with the Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Southern Choctaw will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Millry (Millry, AL).

The Pirates (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Greene County bounced Moss Point (Moss Point, MS), 49-42, in a league test.
