The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 75-36 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Gryphons now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bessemer City for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Thursday, December 19. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 81-77 non-league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Hibriten falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-2. West Caldwell won 65-51 in their recent league bout against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)
