Texas High School Basketball - Hondo succumbs to Poteet

In Tuesday's league test, the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), by a final score of 55-43.

Next, the Aggies clash with the Crystal City Javelinas (Crystal City, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Friday, December 20. Poteet will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Javelinas come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 75-40 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX).

The Owls (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Pirates come into the 3A Region IV District 28 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Lytle overcame Cotulla (Cotulla, TX), 90-55, in a league test.
