Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Palmerton knocks off Jim Thorpe

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored a good 49-33 win over the Jim Thorpe Olympians.
The Blue Bombers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders come into the Colonial - West contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Catasauqua was topped by Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 67-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Olympians battle the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, December 20. Jim Thorpe will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 80-55 non-league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA).
