The Lithia Springs Lions basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs to 52 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Heard County for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Lithia Springs will confront a Braves team coming off a 70-45 non-league loss to Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Braves record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Kennesaw Mountain falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Marietta (Marietta, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 5-6. Marietta won 65-54 in their recent non-league game against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA)
