Texas High School Basketball - Lovington triumphant over Kermit

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) and the host Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), observed Lovington's basketball team overwhelm Kermit by a score of 66-30.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamos was routed by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 61-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Kermit will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 58-51 league win over Sterling City (Sterling City, TX).
