The Spalding Jaguars basketball squad (Griffin, GA), was nudged 56-53 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA)

With the victory, LaGrange advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Grangers travel to Heard County (Franklin, GA) to meet the Braves in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Braves enter the battle with a record of 1-5.

The Jaguars now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Persons for a AAA Region 2 battle on Thursday, December 19. Spalding will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-45 league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
