Mississippi High School Basketball - Lake Cormorant holds off Lewisburg

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lake Cormorant basketball team scored a close 48-44 triumph over the Lewisburg Patriots.
The (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Byhalia (Byhalia, MS). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Byhalia was tipped by Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS), 65-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Lewisburg will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 47-43 league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS).
