The Moravia Mohawks basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Lamoni Demons to 43 in the Mohawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mohawks now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Moravia will play a Tigers team coming off a 57-54 league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Lamoni falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Demons host Murray (Murray, IA) to play the Mustangs in a Bluegrass game on Friday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-2. Murray won 60-57 in their recent league game against Seymour (Seymour, IA)
