In Tuesday's league test, the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), by a score of 56-26.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.

The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats come into the WPIAL 2A 4 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Shenango was routed by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 60-46, in a league test.
