With the victory, Prairiland advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Pewitt (Omaha, TX) to meet the Brahmas in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Brahmas enter the match with a record of 8-6.

The Tigers now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisum for a 3A Region II District 12 match on Friday, December 20. Mount Vernon will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 70-62 league loss to Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
