Texas High School Basketball - Overton overwhelms New Summerfield

The Overton Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host New Summerfield Hornets to 36 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Carlisle for a 2A Region III District 22 game on Friday, December 20. Overton will play a Indians team coming off a 54-31 league loss to Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-13.

The Hornets now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Enterprise for a 2A Region III District 22 match on Thursday, December 19.
