Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), 40-35 in a league match.

With the victory, Straughn upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year. The Tigers host Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 9-0. Pleasant Home won 72-70 in their recent non-league match against McKenzie (McKenzie, AL)

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28.
