The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) and the visiting St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN), observed Zimmerman's basketball team overwhelm St. Francis by a score of 86-53.

The Thunder (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Hornets come into the AAA Section 5 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Big Lake trounced Princeton (Princeton, MN), 90-77, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Saints encounter the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 73-57 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, MN).
