In Tuesday's league contest, the host Adams Cougars basketball team scored a big 55-32 triumph over the Spruce Timberwolves.

The Cougars (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Seagoville (Dallas, TX). The Dragons go into the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Seagoville was trounced by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 61-19, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, December 20. Spruce will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Wranglers go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 35-33 league win over Wilson (Dallas, TX).
