In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting AGWSR Cougars basketball team scored a big 45-22 triumph over the East Marshall Mustangs.

The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers go into the North Iowa Cedar - West contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, South Hardin was trounced by Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA), 57-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West contest, on Friday, December 20. East Marshall will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 61-40 non-league win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
