In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Bayonne Bees basketball team scored a big 55-32 triumph over the Union City Soaring Eagles.
The Bees (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Kardinals go into the Hudson County - American contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Kearny was trounced by Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ), 51-25, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Soaring Eagles confront the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Union City will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 31-22 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
