The Southside Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Berea Bulldogs to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. Southside will confront a Blue Flame team coming off a 86-24 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Blue Flame record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Berea falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 0-8. Carolina Academy lost 32-18 in their recent non-league game against Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC)
