Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS), 50-42 in a league battle.

With the victory, Biggersville advances its record to 10-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS) to meet the Bearcats in a 1A Region 1 battle on Thursday, December 19. The Bearcats enter the battle with a record of 0-5.

The Rebels now own a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hatley for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. Thrasher will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
