Michigan High School Basketball - New Lothrop routs Birch Run

December 17, 2024: New Lothrop, MI 48460

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host New Lothrop Hornets basketball team scored a big 64-23 triumph over the Birch Run Panthers.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Marauders go into the Mid-Michigan contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Ovid-Elsie smashed Chesaning (Chesaning, MI), 54-16, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Birch Run will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 51-9 non-league win over Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI).
