The Golden Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, North Union smashed Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 48-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) in a North Iowa contest, on Friday, December 20. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 51-25 non-league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA).
