The Burlington Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Iola Mustangs to 32 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wellsville for a Pioneer game on Friday, December 20. Burlington will confront a Eagles team coming off a 48-12 league win over Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Iola falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Prairie View (La Cygne, KS) to confront the Buffalos in a Pioneer game on Thursday, December 19. The Buffalos go into the game with a record of 2-1. Prairie View won 38-26 in their recent league game against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS)
