Next, the Bearcats encounter the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 test, on Friday, December 20. Whitesboro will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 13-3 record after their 83-30 league win over Boyd (Boyd, TX).

The Wildcats (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Valley View was routed by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 71-19, in a league test.
