The Century Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Mankato East Cougars to 45 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Owatonna for a AAAA Section 1 game on Thursday, December 19. Century will confront a Huskies team coming off a 60-15 non-league win over Winona (Winona, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Mankato East falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Marshall (Marshall, MN) to confront the Tigers in a AAA Section 2 game on Thursday, December 19. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 8-0. Marshall won 79-56 in their recent non-league game against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)
