The Lions now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Chapel Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, December 20. Henderson will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-38 league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Cumberland Academy falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Kilgore (Kilgore, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 16 bout on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Kilgore lost 49-41 in their recent league bout against Spring Hill (Longview, TX)
