The Damien Monarchs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows to 28 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Hanalani for a Interscholastic League [ILH] II game on Thursday, December 19. Damien will play a Royals team coming off a 61-38 league win over Sacred Hearts Academy (Honolulu, HI). The Royals record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, University Laboratory School falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Junior rainbows travel to Hanalani (Mililani, HI) to play the Royals in a Interscholastic League [ILH] II game on Monday, January 6. The Royals go into the game with a record of 11-4.
