In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lincolnwood Lancers basketball team scored a close 40-35 triumph over the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers.

The Lancers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern (Piasa, IL). The Piasa Birds go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Southwestern was tipped by Gillespie (Gillespie, IL), 41-25, in a league contest.
