The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) and the visiting Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), observed Sherando's basketball team overwhelm Kettle Run by a score of 54-22.

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges come into the Northwestern challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Handley trounced Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA), 66-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Kettle Run will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 51-48 league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
