The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) and the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), observed Spring Hill's basketball team knock off Kilgore by a score of 49-41.

The Panthers (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Carthage prevailed over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 53-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Kilgore will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 79-34 league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX).
