In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Sinton Pirates basketball team scored a good 36-16 win over the King Brahmas.
The Pirates (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees come into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Tuloso-Midway beat Banquete (Banquete, TX), 60-35, in a non-league test.
The Brahmas (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Ingleside was knocked off by Robstown (Robstown, TX), 52-36, in a non-league test.
