The Orcas Island Vikings basketball squad (Eastsound, WA), was nudged 43-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host La Conner Braves (LaConner, WA)
With the victory, La Conner advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Braves host Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 1-3. Lakewood lost 73-34 in their recent league battle against Lynden (Lynden, WA)
The Vikings now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concrete for a 1B/2B Northwest battle on Tuesday, January 7.
