Texas High School Basketball - Lopez crushes Weslaco East

The Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) basketball crushed the host Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX), 72-30 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lobos now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Harlingen South for a 5A Region IV District 32 bout on Friday, December 20. Lopez will play a Hawks team coming off a 55-13 league win over Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Weslaco East falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Donna North (Donna, TX) to play the Chiefs in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout on Tuesday, December 31. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 4-16.
