In Tuesday's league contest, the host Maud Cardinals basketball team scored a big 43-19 win over the Pewitt Brahmas.

The Cardinals (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 16 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Harts Bluff smashed Rivercrest (Bogata, TX), 43-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Brahmas battle the Clarksville Tigers (Clarksville, TX) in a 2A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, December 20. Pewitt will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 36-29 league win over Maud (Maud, TX).
