In Tuesday's league contest, the host Unity Christian Academy Phoenix basketball team scored a good 38-30 triumph over the MCC Crescents.
The Phoenix (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Grant Park topped Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL), 38-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crescents confront the College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL) in a Metro Prep contest, on Wednesday, January 8. MCC will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Thunder go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 44-32 league loss to Universal (Bridgeview, IL).
