The Strother Yellowjackets basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Meeker Bulldogs to 39 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mason for a Little River game on Tuesday, January 14. Strother will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-27 non-league loss to Dewar (Dewar, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Meeker falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Holdenville (Holdenville, OK) to confront the Wolverines in a 66 game on Friday, December 20. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 5-2. Holdenville won 55-34 in their recent non-league game against Wewoka (Wewoka, OK)
