The Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) basketball crushed the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 51-30 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. Pontotoc will play a Chargers team coming off a 64-22 non-league win over Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, New Hope falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Germantown (Madison, MS) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Germantown lost 42-34 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, MS)
