Illinois High School Basketball - Nokomis holds off Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran

December 17, 2024: Pawnee, IL

The Nokomis Redskins basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran to 33 in the Redskins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redskins now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Olive for a MSM game on Friday, December 20. Nokomis will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-21 league loss to New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The host North Mac (Virden, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-7. North Mac won 47-41 in their recent league game against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL)
