The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) and the host Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), observed Paradise's basketball team overwhelm Valley View by a margin of 71-19.

The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Gunter trounced Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX), 55-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Valley View will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 57-31 league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
