In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Villa Walsh Academy Vikings basketball team scored a big 70-30 triumph over the Parsippany Redhawks.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Arts (Newark, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Arts smashed Newark Collegiate Academy (Newark, NJ), 65-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Redhawks battle the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest, on Thursday, December 19. Parsippany will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 31-22 non-league win over Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ).
