The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) and the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), observed Scarborough's basketball team overcome Thornton Academy by a score of 53-33.

The Red Storm (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams come into the AA South challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Gorham defeated Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 59-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Thornton Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME).
