The Sumner Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Searsport Vikings to 16 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Narraguagus for a C North game on Saturday, December 21. Sumner will confront a Knights team coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Searsport falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to confront the Golden Bucks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Golden Bucks go into the game with a record of 2-0. Bucksport won 57-28 in their recent non-league game against Lee Academy (Lee, ME)
